No! SHRED is a great workout for anyone, no matter your fitness level or ski abilities. We offer a fun, effective total body workout. Our focus on lateral movements will help you become the strongest version of yourself for all of your athletic endeavors. Get ready to ace your next tennis match, improve your golf game, and feel more confident on the ice!

While we don’t teach ski technique, our signature method will make you strong enough to conquer a long day on the slopes. Many other studios today don’t work the muscles in the same way we do, which is the same way they work while skiing. Our emphasis on lateral movements, proprioception, cardio, and strength will ensure that you can ski longer days and feel less sore than you did before SHRED.

Just bring yourself and your sneakers! We have water available for purchase, in addition to fountains to fill up your bottle if you bring your own.

We keep our classes to a maximum of 12 people to ensure the instructor can monitor every client and deliver a personalized experience.

Yes! Many of our instructors are pre-and post-natal certified and are excited to welcome all pregnant and new moms into class! They are here to provide any modifications and make sure you have a fun, safe, and effective class.

Our signature SHRED classes are 45 minutes, including the warm-up and cool down

We recommend arriving 10 minutes before class so you have plenty of time to put your belongings in a locker and chat with the instructor and fellow participants before class starts. If you’re running late, please call to let us know so we don’t give your spot away to someone on the waitlist. Unfortunately, for your safety, we can’t let anyone in more than 5 minutes after class has started.

New clients must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class for an intro to the Skier's Edge machine.

Sign-ups open every Sunday at 5pm for the following 2 weeks of classes. Please note that sign-ups for classes prior to 8:30am close at 10pm the night before.

You can book online via the reserve a class section of our website, call the studio, or email us at info@shredfitny.com. Additionally, you can reserve classes in person in the studio.

Please cancel at least 12 hours before the start of your class to have your credit returned to your account. If you cancel within 12 hours of the start time, you will lose your credit, or be charged $20 if you have a monthly membership.

We have 3 showers, luxury bath and skincare products, hair-ties, and a lounge area complete with comfortable couches and a fireplace.
